SKA/TASK Squad Session
 On October 1st 2006, TASK and SKA (Sunderland Karate Academy) were involved in a combined competition squad training session.

At the end of the session, Sensei Derek Laing (SKA Chief Instructor) presented Sensei Mark Raistrick (TASK Chief Instructor) with a certificate of Honorary Membership to SKA in return for long and continued support of SKA and it's ventures.

Scruton Instructors

Congratulations go to all TASK coaches who successfully passed the Instructors Training Day in july 2007. The Instructors Day was provided by the BNMAA Sensei Paul Griffin (7th Dan) and hosted by Sunderland Karate Academy.

The bottom photo on the left is of the Scruton Antei senior grades who attended the Instructors Tarining Day - Stuart Charlton, Chris Coleman, Angela Horner and Jim Hargan. Not pictured are Dave Long and Jeff Watson.

All six who attended passed, everyone achieving at least one credit pass. Dave Long secured three credit passes, Angela Horner one distinction and Jim Hargan (club leader) two credits and a distinction.
