Guisborough Celebrations
Sensei Capaldi - 7th Dan award
On Saturday 9th October Sensei Enrico Capaldi of Sokudo Karate organised a charity night at the Quiot Club to celebrate the 30th anniversary of having a club in Guisborough !
The evening's entertainment included an Elvis impersonator, a band and a disco plus, of course, the traditional pie and peas. If that wasn't enough, there was also a fantastic demonstration provided by the clubs members young and old.
Sensei Mark Raistrick spoke after the demonstrations stating that Sensei Capaldi had been one of his first instructors. He continued to say how pleased he was to see so many of Sensei Rico's students, past and present, in attendance as well as his family and friends. Finally, Sensei Raistrick took the opportunity to present Sensei Rico with his Black Belt 7th Dan.

On December 3rd, 2010 Sensei Rico was formally awarded his 7th Dan by the EKF/ WKF and Taisho-Do Karate.
